Overview
The Seminar - organized in cooperation with the the CNR (National
Research Council) Bologna research area - about "E-books in academic libraries" will be organized along a format that should include a question and answer session with publishers, based on a few critical questions preset by a group of librarians, a review of a few significant Italian experiences and a speech from a foreign librarian about the state-of-the-art abroad of ebooks in academic libraries.
Afternoon session
The seminar will be complemented by a small exhibition area for the participanting publishers.
The event is organized in collaboration with the CNR Area della Ricerca di Bologna
The seminar is free. Participant are required to register in advance within the 27th of October.
With the major international publishers
We have thought to ask some librarians to suggest 4-5 questions to which the publishers will be called to answer to in turn in front of the attendees. A summary of the answers will be produced and a discussion could follow.
