ABI/INFORM Dateline

Our new ABI/INFORM Dateline database adds valuable business information to your library's resources.

We've added ABI/INFORM Dateline to our ABI/INFORM® suite of web-based business products. Based on our popular Business Dateline® CD-ROM database, ABI/INFORM Dateline covers hard-to-find local and regional business information from the U.S. and Canada.

ABI/INFORM Dateline contains fully searchable full-text articles, in ASCII format, from more than 140 top business sources. Each record includes complete bibliographic, geographic, and indexing information. With ABI/INFORM Dateline, web users can find information on a wide range of business-related subjects including:

  • Hard to find coverage of small, privately held companies and local start-ups
  • Local, company-specific articles
  • Articles on company executives and entrepreneurs
  • Local economic conditions
  • Much more

Powerful ABI/INFORM indexing, including more than 8,000 subject terms, lets researchers quickly find the information they need. ABI/INFORM Classification Codes enable users to precisely target a search by topic, industry or market, geographical area, or article type.

You'll find the information you're looking for because ABI/INFORM Dateline uses our ProQuest IntelliDocs intelligent document-linking capability. This valuable feature allows users to link directly from ProQuest to other high-quality information resources such as encyclopedias, "Best of the Web," Dow Jones® company profiles, and even related holdings in your OPAC.
